Suomen Hypoteekkiyhdistys establishing €1.5 billion bond programme

Overview:

• Suomen Hypoteekkiyhdistys - The Mortgage Society of Finland - established a €1.5 billion bond programme for the issuance of senior unsecured notes, subordinated debentures and covered bonds.
• All bonds are listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki trading list. 
• Nordea Bank Finland served as arranger for the programme.
• A programme under which covered bonds issuance is possible is rare in Finland as there are strict rules imposed by the Finnish Act on Mortgage Credit Bank Activity that have to be met.
