Overview:

  • Cinven bought Labco, the French medical diagnostics provider, in a deal that values the company at €1.2 billion. 
  • Labco has previously planned to list on the Euronext Paris, but cancelled shortly before the acquisition. 
  • Cinven followed up the acquisition by acquiring German laboratory operator Synlab from BC Partners.
