SL Capital Partners acquisition of Gasum local distribution network

Overview:

• SL Capital Partners, a private markets specialist, successfully acquired the local gas distribution network of Gasum in Finland, the largest gas distribution system operator (DSO) in Finland comprised of Gasum Paikallisjakelu and Helsingin Kaupunkikaasu.
• The acquisition included a loan provided by Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken and Pohjola Bank to the buyers.
• The sale is part of Gasum's strategy to focus on the development of the Nordic gas market and energy infrastructure through environmentally friendly solutions.
• Gasum will continue to carry the supply contracts with gas customers.
