Bridgepoint €420 million sale of Spanish wind farms

Overview:

• Several investment funds managed by Bridgepoint have sold their wind farms portfolio in Spain to an investment consortium formed by Exus Management Partners, Dham NV and other investors.
• The assets are located in the Spanish Region of Castilla y León, having a total nominal power of 330MW and a value of €375 million.
• The sale of Borawind is another among a wave of corporate operations that the renewable sector in Spain has recently experienced, such as Eolia's sale to Cerberus, and KKR's acquisition of Renovalia, Oaktree and Gestamp Solar.
