Overview:

  • Tisza-TK Projekt has taken out financing to develop a new isosugar plant.
  • The funds will be used to develop the €150 million plant in Tiszapuspoki, 134km east of Budapest.
  • The plant will employ 550 people and process 530,000 tonnes of maize a year. It will produce 230,000 tonnes of isosugar a year.
  • MKB Bank and Hungarian Export-Import Bank have provided the financing.
