Overview:

  • Fujeij 89.1MW Wind Farm.
  • Korea Electric Power Corporation will develop the 89.1MW plant located at Fujeij as sole sponsor.
  • The Export Import Bank of Korea (K-EXIM), Mizuho Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) will finance the Fujeij wind farm project in Jordan.
  • The plant will be built by Vestas and operation is scheduled to commence in October 2018. 
  • The funding comprises a K-EXIM direct loan of $64 million, with a $ 52 million K-EXIM covered facility being provided by Mizuho and SMBC as well as $81 million equity bridge facilities funded by the commercial banks.
