  • Hinkley Point C 3200MW Nuclear Power Project
  • EDF and China General Nuclear Power (CGN) have signed an agreement to develop a new nuclear power plant at Hinkley in Somerset, the first in the UK for over 30 years.
  • A deal has finally been signed after being delayed earlier in the year by the UK Government after the EU referendum. The original site license was signed in 2012
  • CGN will contribute £6 billion to the project costs.
