N25 New Ross Bypass PPP

Overview:

• N25 New Road Bypass PPP.
• The project consists of a 13.6km of new dual carriageway (N25 & N30 routes), 1.2km of new/upgraded single carriageway and a crossing over the River Barrow.
• The project is being developed by a consortium consisting of BAM PPP Ireland and Iridium Concessiones de Infraestructuras.
• Funding for the project included a €146 million fixed-rate senior secured bond issue (listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange) supported by the European Investment Bank’s (EIB) project bond credit enhancement (PBCE) mechanism.
• The project reached financial close in January 2016.
