Advent International acquisition of V Group

Overview:

• Advent International has agreed a deal to acquire a majority stake in V Group from OMERS Private Equity.
• V Group is a marine and offshore vessel management and support services provider. Operating out of 70 international offices, the company manages over 1,000 vessels and employs more than 3,000 people with the support of over 47,400 personnel in marine and offshore roles.
• The deal is OMERS' first private equity exit in Europe. It acquired V Group in 2011.
