Overview:

  • The Bolloré Group sold 22.5% of its stake in media group Havas for €601 million in a private placement.  
  • The holding company sold 93.9 million shares at €6.40 per share in order to maintain its liquidity. 
  • Bolloré still holds more than 50% of the share capital of the group. 
  • The move followed the public exchange offer by Bolloré in February 2015 where the company took control of the voting rights of Havas.
