Overview:

  • Equinix has acquired UK data centre company Telecity for £2.35 billion.
  • Telecity shareholders received 572.5p per share plus 0.0327 of one new Equinix share and own 10.1% of the combined company.
  • Telecity had been looking to merge with Dutch company Interxion.
