Overview:

  • Constellation Hotels Holding has acquired 64% of the shares in Coroin from the Barclay Brothers (Ellerman).
  • Coroin owns the Maybourne Hotel Group which in turn owns Claridges, The Berkeley and the Connaught.
  • The deal follows a recent court case relating to the ownership of the hotels. Weil Gotshal also advised the Barclay Brothers on this matter.
