Kymijärvi III power plant

Overview:

• Kymijärvi III power plant
• The project includes the construction of a €165 million power plant in Lahti, Finland. The new power plant will burn 100% biomass (sustainable certified wood). Upon commercial operation of the plant, the CO2 emissions of Lahti Energia will be reduced by 20% from the level of 1990.
• The new power plant will replace the existing coal fired plant Kymijärvi I.
