- Telecommunications company Airtel Africa has undertaken its IPO on the LSE, raising £600 million.
- Airtel Africa is the first company to list on both the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
- The telecommunications and mobile money services company is present in 14 African countries and has a capitalisation of approximately £3 billion.
- The company is indirectly controlled by India's largest mobile services company, Bharti Airtel.
