Altiplano-La Puna 208MW solar farms

• Neoen is developing 208MW solar farms in the province of Salta, Argentina.
• The projects obtained $234 million in financing in the form of an uncovered tranche from Proparco and DEG and a covered tranche from Société Générale and KfW. 
• The covered tranche was backed by a buyer credit guarantee from Bpifrance Assurance Export (BPI). 
• Citibank acted as trustee and collateral agent. 
• This was part of the RenovAr program in Argentina, which is intended to promote renewable energy in the country.
• Despite a difficult economic situation in Argentina, financings of RenovAr projects have continued to be active.
