Partners Group acquisition of stake in Greenlink Interconnector

Overview:

• Private-markets investment manager Partners Group has acquired stake in 500MW Greenlink Interconnector project between United Kingdom and Ireland.
• The cable is designed to improve the security of electricity supply in both countries and will stretch approximately 200km underground and under the sea between County Wexford in Ireland and Pembrokeshire in Wales.
• The acquisition secures additional funding for the project that is set to begin construction in 2020 and is expected to complete by 2023.
