Kınalı-Odayeri and Kurtköy-Akyazı sections of Northern Marmara Motorway

Overview:

• The Kınalı-Odayeri and Kurtköy-Akyazı sections of the Northern Marmara Motorway, the northern bypass of Istanbul that includes the third road crossing of the Bosphorous Strait.
• The total financing for the project is $2.674 billion; $1.634 billion for the Kurtköy-Akyazı section and $1.04 for the Kınalı-Odayeri section.
• The Kınalı-Odayeri section runs approximately 90 km on the European side and is split into three sub-sections: Kınalı-Yassıören, Yassıören-Odayeri and Habipler-Hasdaland.
• The Kurtköy-Akyazı section runs approximately 180 km on the Asian side also split into three sub-sections: Kurtköy-Dilovası, Dilovası-İzmit and İzmit-Akyazı.
• Cengiz İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, Limak İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, Kolin İnşaat Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret, Kalyon İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, RSY İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret and Pak Yatırım İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret serve as sponsors of the project.
• The lenders for the project are Türkiye Garanti Bankası, Türkiye İş Bankası, QNB Finansbank, TC Ziraat Bankası, Türkiye Halk Bankası and Türkiye Vakıflar Bankası.
