Overview:

  • Visa has made a $16 billion debt offering.
  • The offering consisted of $1.75 million 1.2%, $3 million 2.2%, $2.25 million 2.8%, $4 million 3.15%, $1.5 million 4.15% and $3.5 million 4.3% notes issues. 
  • The proceeds will be used to help finance Visa's acquisition of Visa Europe.
