Overview:

  • SK Telecom attempted to acquire a 53.9% stake in CJ HelloVision (CJ HV) for W500 billion ($441 million) from CJ O'Shopping.
  • The acquisition would have resulted in CJ HV becoming a subsidiary of SK Telecom and merging with SK Broadband.
