Overview:

  • Altegrity restructured $1.8 billion of debt.
  • Altegrity is the parent company of United States Investigations Services which screened Edward Snowden and Aaron Alexis. The company was charged with fraud in 2014 but settled in August 2015. Furthermore, In 2014, the Office of Personnel Management ended contracts with United States Investigations Services. 
  • Altegrity filed for bankruptcy in February 2015. 
  • As a result of its restructuring agreement, the company decreased its debt by $700 million.
