Overview:

  • SoftBank Group has issued $4.5 billion in senior notes.
  • The notes were listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
  • The dollar tranches consisted of $1 billion in 6% senior notes due 2025; $1 billion 5.375% senior notes due 2022.
  • The euro tranches consisted of €500 million 5.25% senior notes due 2027; €1.25 million 4.75% senior notes due 2025; and €500 million 4% senior notes due 2022.
  • Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs acted as joint global coordinators. Mizuho Securities Asia, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Crédit Agricole and Nomura acted as bookrunners. SMBC Nikko, UBS, Barclays, Daiwa Capital Markets America and Citigroup Global Markets acted as managers. BNP Paribas also acted as co-manager on the Euro tranches.
  • The funds raised will be used to refinance existing debt and for general corporate purposes.
