Metro Bank has acquired a loan portfolio from Cerberus Capital Management for £596.7 million.
All lending in the portfolio has similar credit to the current mortgage book.
UK mortgages acquisitions are supposed to increase the loan-to-deposit ratio to 78%, compared to 2020's 80%.
