Overview:

  • Source Energy Services has undertaken an IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE).
  • The offering consists of 16.7 million common shares valued at $10.50, raising $175 million.
  • AltaCorp, BMO Nesbitt Burns, Canaccord Genuity, CIBC World Markets, Cowen and Company, GMP Securities, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Peters & Co, Raymond James South American Holdings, RBC Dominion Securities and Scotia Capital acted as underwriters.
  • Source is a fully integrated producer, supplier and distributor of high-quality Northern White frac sand, which is used to enhance hydrocarbon recovery in the hydraulic fracturing of oil and natural gas wells. 
  • The deal is the first Canadian energy company IPO since 2014.
