Overview:

• Cirebon 2 1000MW coal power plant.
• The project also known as the Cirebon expansion project, will have a capacity of 1000MW and will deploy ultra-supercritical technology.
• The power plant will be located to the east of the current Cirebon 1 site.
• The financing has been provided by lenders such as the Japan Bank for International Cooperation and the Export–Import Bank of Korea.
• This project was guaranteed through a Business Viability Guarantee Letter from the Minister of Finance, and will account for 6% of the Indonesian Government’s stated goal to generate 35000MW of power generation by 2019.
