New Priok $2.5 billion Port Project

Overview:

• The $2.5 billion New Priok Port Project will be Indonesia's largest industrial port to date, and its size will triple the annual capacity of Tanjung Priok.
• The overall capacity of the completed New Priok Port will be 19.5 million TEUs of containers per year.
• The project is divided into three phases, and the Kalibaru Port terminal is one part of the first phase of the New Priok Port expansion.
• The port is anticipated to be fully operational in 2023, and the operators and sponsors are Pelindo II and Mitsui & Co.
