Cirio has acted for Svevind in the divestment of its Swedish subsidiary Svevind Nordic AB to the power company Statkraft. Svevind Nordic AB is a wind power developer with a substantial portfolio of Swedish wind power projects being in development, having a total capacity of up to 16,000 MW. Svevind Nordic AB is the owner of the Hästliden greenfield wind farm project, located in the third phase of the Markbygden wind farm cluster outside Piteå in Northern Sweden.

2023 was an eventful year in the Energy, Extractives and Infrastructure sectors because of the commencement, progress and completion of key projects including the relocation of Ameri power plants, progress in the Early Power Project, and the granting of Ghana's first lithium mining lease. Notable in energy was the Gold for Oil policy and the start of oil production from Jubilee South-East.
