Senior lawyers from Malaysian firm Kadir Andri & Partners (KAAP) have departed to establish a new boutique in the South East Asian country.
Partners Adrian Chair and Putri Norlisa Najib have left to establish Putri Norlisa Chair (PNC Law), and will be joined by their teams and corporate associate Constance Low.
Chair headed the special projects and infrastructure unit at KAAP, and is experienced in domestic and cross-border transactions.
Putri is experienced in cross-border financing, and is particularly active in acquisition finance, project finance and shipping finance. She was trained in London and previously worked at Eversheds’ London office.
Low, who also leaves from KAAP, is New York Law qualified and was formerly at Linklaters in New York and London.
PNC Law begins its operations this month and in combination with recruits outside KAAP will start out with 11 fee-earners.
