Folake Alabi

Folake is a Partner in the firm. She has substantial experience in project finance, capital markets, corporate finance, and acquisitions of power assets. Folake has extensive experience in advising development finance institutions, an experience which earned her a fellowship at the International Finance Corporation, Washington DC, where she gained first- hand experience on development financing.

• Advised the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on a USD$50million financing to Nigerian Commercial Bank as part of its Covid-19 relief financing.
• Advised BUA Cement Plc. on its NGN 115 billion under a NGN 200 billion bond issuance programme, (the current largest corporate bond issuance in Nigeria).
• Advised Airtel Africa Plc on the first cross-border issuance in Nigeria and its secondary listing on the Official Trading List of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.
• Advised Seplat Petroleum Development Company on its US$350Million Eurobond Issuance.
