Flora has extensive experience in insurance and commercial law acquired at the Paris based law firm Herald (formerly Granrut). She notably intervened in transactional and litigation matters for insurance and reinsurance companies.

She has worked at Gide Loyrette Nouel and Ernst & Young law firms in Paris, as well as in the insurance department of Suez Environement – Degremont..

 

  • Litigation before state courts relating to the execution of insurance contracts, investments in toxic or fraudulent funds, the banker's, and the insurer's duty to inform and advise;
  • Litigation before arbitration courts, particularly with regard to a partnership between two French insurers who had set up a joint venture for the purpose of marketing insurance contracts in Vietnam;
  • Regularization and audit of insurance contracts in order to bring them into compliance with the current legislation;
  • The negotiation of several confidential settlement agreements in the context of commercial disputes between insurance companies and their various trading partners;
  • Advising foreign companies, notably Luxembourg-based companies, in the marketing of their insurance contracts in free provision of services.
