Ajinderpal Singh is a senior partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups. He is Co-Head of the Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, White Collar and Government Investigations and Competition & Antitrust practices. He is also the Singapore-India and Singapore-Indonesia relationship partner.

Ajinder focuses on partnership and shareholder disputes, insolvency and banking litigation. He acts for both minority and majority shareholders, representing a diverse range of clients and has been involved in partnership disputes between local and international law firms. He also advises directors and CEOs on the laws pertaining to directors’ duities and corporate governance. Ajinder has a broad and diverse range of arbitration experience. He has been involved in ICC, SIAC and other "ad hoc" arbitrations. He is well versed with issues related to the enforcement of arbitral awards, including applications for the setting aside of such awards.

  • Advised Perpetual (Asia) Limited in the restructuring of the Issuer/Debtor Company, Hyflux Ltd. Hyflux’s debt is in excess of S$3billion, making it one of the largest restructuring matters. The deal contemplated an injection of about S$530million.
  • Represented China Railway Construction Corporation in relation to the issuing of various bondholder notes in excess of US$60million by a Singapore listed company.
  • Advised the Liquidators of Sixcap Financials Pte Ltd in the winding up of the company, with approximately S$5million in total debts.
