Eversheds recruits Tim Armsby from Trowers & Hamlins as a partner across its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) offices.

He has worked on MENA deals for over a decade and is as experienced as anyone can be on Egypt's new Public-Private Partnership (PPP) regime.

Armsby's recent experience also includes advising the Jordanian government on the cross-border Arab Gas Pipeline Project, the Egyptian Ministry of Finance in relation to three PPP projects and in relation to the planned first nuclear power plant in Egypt, and acting on a number of independent water, powerplant and petrochemical projects across the region.

Eversheds' Middle East managing partner Chris Jobson (pictured) said: “Eversheds has trebled its presence in the Middle East and as part of our commitment to growth in the region, we are constantly looking at talented individuals to join our firm. Tim is an extremely distinguished lawyer and we look forward to welcoming him into the firm.”
