Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has hired a new partner in Hong Kong to add to its corporate strength in Asia.

Rosa Ng Sin Kiu joins the firm from Squire Patton Boggs where she was a partner in its corporate finance practice.

Madeline Leong, head of WFW in Hong Kong said of the hire: "Her arrival will strengthen our corporate presence in Hong Kong and the broader Asia region. Rosa will work closely with our other Asian offices in Singapore and Bangkok, as well as our associated law firm in Vietnam, LVN & Associates."

Ng advises clients on IPOs, secondary equity and equity-linked offerings, M&A, regulatory matters and Sino-foreign joint ventures.

Recently WFW formed an association with Vietnamese boutique firm LVN & Associates, who had previously been the Vietnamese partner firm of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. In the past year the firm has hired a number of corporate partners worldwide such as Nigel Taylor, Andy Savage, Martin Thomas and Dearbhla Quigley in London, Arnaud Felix in Paris, Suhail Mirza in Dubai and Adele Hogan in New York.
