Tessa is a Director in CDH's Corporate & Commercial practice. Tessa has extensive experience in local and cross-border M&As, private equity, joint ventures, and the formation, structuring and restructuring of business entities, commercial of aspects renewable energy projects, large due diligence investigations.

• acting as lead adviser to Phakwe Witkop Investments on its ZAR 343 million acquisition from Terraform Global of 51% of the shares in Core Energy
• advising Vutomi Energy as IPP counsel on several embedded generation renewable power projects whereby Vutomi Energy will sell energy to third party offtakers
• appointed by Scatec Solar Africa to advise on all environmental law and property aspects of their bid submissions under Round 5 of the South African Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP)
• advised Broadreach on its acquisition from Enertronica, the leading Italy-based company, of an indirect 35 per cent interest in Sertum Energy, which owns the 6MW Trekkopje Solar Plant in Namibia
