Saurabh’s expertise includes advising banks, NBFCs, other financial entities & corporates in relation to a varied array of lending & financing transactions, including by way of acquisition finance, structured finance, interbank borrowings, bond issuances, note issuances & restructuring etc. He regularly assists foreign clients on their overseas direct investments & foreign currency lending. He is frequently involved in structuring & strategizing arrangements from an Indian legal, regulatory & compliance perspective.

• Advised State Bank of India in borrowing an untie loan of USD 1 Billion from Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
• Acted as lenders’ Indian legal counsel in two back-to-back refinancing facilities, where Reliance Industries Limited (“RIL”) have borrowed by way of ECB of USD 1,000,000,000 and USD 1,455,000,000.
• Advised State Bank of India, HDFC Bank Limited, Axis Bank Limited, Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank Limited, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India and Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited, on one of the biggest infrastructure financing (multiple banking arrangement) mandate involving an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT). The Lenders granted credit facilities aggregating up to INR 300,008,000,000/- to Summit Digitel Infrastructure Private Limited (formerly known as Reliance Jio Infratel Private Limited (RJIPL)).
• Advised syndicate of lender in relation to USD 200,000,000 term loan facility extended to LIC Housing Finance Limited.
• Advised foreign currency lenders in relation to an inbound merger transaction of Reliance Holding USA, Inc. and Reliance Industries Limited.
