Salim Ali

Salim is a partner and heads the International Division at Al-Hamad Legal Group. Salim is a highly accomplished attorney with a strong legal background. He has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, government contracts and international transactions from all phases including due diligence, deal structuring, management of the investments and final liquidation and exit.

• Acted as Seller's counsel selling a 68 million United States Dollars controlling interest in Kuwait's only pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
• Advised the seller in a 50 Million United States Dollars acquisition of a subsidiary company holding two elementary schools in Kuwait. 
• Advised a Kuwaiti company in the 400 Million United States Dollar project owned by Oman Power and Water Procurement Company for the design, financing, permitting, insurance, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing, ownership, operation and maintenance of a photovoltaic solar power plant with a total net power capacity of approximately 500MW and other associated facilities located at Ibri in the Sultanate of Oman.
• Advised a Gulf-based investment company on a multi-million-dollar bank facility to enable its acquisition of shares listed on a Middle Eastern stock exchange.
