Richard Hammarvid

Richard Hammarvid has well over 25 years' experience working with Swedish and foreign companies advising on international corporate acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, development, international co-operation agreements and on purchases or sales of products and services. Many of Richard’s assignments are international. In addition to the Nordic region and Europe, he has worked with similar engagements in Russia, South Africa, China, Japan, Korea and South America. Furthermore Richard also has extensive experience of working with companies in the automotive industry and has worked as a company lawyer within the Volvo Group for nearly five years.

• Assisted in signing agreement between Volvo Car Corporation (”Volvo Cars”) and Sjätte AP-fonden, whereby Volvo Cars acquired 40% of the ownership shares in Volvofinans Bank AB (“Volvofinans”).
• Assisted AB Volvo (publ) in the sale of Volvo Aero AB.
• Assisted GKN Aerospace Sweden AB in the sale of GKN Applied Composites AB.
• Advised Nomad Foods Limited (“Nomad”) when entering an option agreement with LionGem Sweden 1 AB (seller) under which Nomad or one of its subsidiaries obliged at the option of the seller to acquire Findus Sverige AB and its subsidiaries at approx. GBP 500 million
