Lisa Esamah is a senior associate and a member of the firm’s capital markets, banking & finance, and corporate advisory teams. She has extensive experience in advising clients on various capital market transactions, she has been involved in a wide range of complex transactions, including debt & equity capital markets, corporate restructuring, public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate advisory.

• Advised as joint legal counsel in relation to the establishment of the N150,000,000,000 (one hundred and fifty billion Naira) Commercial Paper Programme by MTN Nigeria Communications PLC, and the Series 1,2 and 3 issuances amounting to a total sum of N150,000,000,000 (one hundred and fifty billion Naira) thereunder;
• Advised as Solicitor to the Trustee in connection with the establishment of an NGN 50,000,000,000 bond programme and a subsequent issuance of NGN 34,500,000,000 Series 1 12.85% Fixed Rate Senior unsecured bond issuance;
• Advised as Solicitors to the Trustees in connection with the N 150 billion structured note programme of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC;
• Advised as the solicitor to the transaction in relation to the establishment of the NGN10 billion commercial paper programme by IMG, and the NGN1.2 billion Series 1 issuance thereunder;
• We acted as solicitor to the listing in connection with the listing by introduction of 18,000,000,000 ordinary shares of N0.50 each, being the entire ordinary issued share capital of BUA Foods PLC in the consumer goods sector of the main board of the Nigerian exchange limited.
