Liguo Cui

Mr. Liguo Cui is the founding partner and the Chairman of the Management Committee of Guantao Law Firm. His areas of expertise are capital markets, M&A, investment and financing. He has advised on numerous transactions relating to investment and private placement, as well as offering and listing in relation to stocks, bonds and trust fund.

In the areas of private equity & investment funds, Mr. Cui provided PRC legal services as the leading attorney in many investment and private placement transactions, including advising on the establishment of the RMB 37.55 billion State FOF Fund of Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the establishment and investment of the RMB45 billion special investment fund of China Insurance Investment, etc.

Mr. Cui has led a number of large-scale, complicated and significant deals on the equity purchase and asset acquisition projects of approximately 20 listed / unlisted companies at home and abroad, for instance, he advised on the restructuring of PetroChina Pipeline, on the Cheung Kong and Hutchison’s reorganization, spin-off and listing, etc.
