Additionally, he was lead counsel to the Ministry of Finance Lao PDR on a sovereign financing facility and played a pivotal role in advising a developer during the construction phase of a significant 650 MW hydropower project in Lao PDR.

Kaz has also been instrumental in advising leading organisations such as BCPG Public Company Limited, Gulf Energy Public Company Limited, Norfund, and Finnfund on the acquisition and financing of prominent hydropower projects in the region.

Furthermore, Kaz has provided expert counsel to international financial institutions, including Asian Development Bank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Export-Import Bank of Thailand, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, on significant financing endeavors related to the Nam Ngiep 1 Hydropower project in Lao PDR.
