Frances is Of Counsel in the Restructuring and Insolvency team in Arthur Cox LLP.  She specialises in all aspects of insolvency, corporate restructuring and litigation, having advised in a number of high profile liquidations, examinerships, schemes of arrangement and receiverships on behalf of all stakeholders including companies, directors, lending institutions and creditors as well as insolvency practitioners.  

  • Advised various creditors of the Norwegian group companies with respect to all aspects of the Irish examinership process.
  • Advised on Irish aspects of the restructuring of Asia Pulp and Paper Group through a Scheme of Arrangement under the Irish Companies Acts.
  • Advised a secured creditor, over €6 million, in relation to successfully petitioning the High Court to Maximum Media Network Limited operating under various media brands including JOE.ie into examinership.
  • Advising Mallinckrodt plc and its Irish subsidiaries in relation to Irish law aspects of its ongoing Chapter 11 proceedings.
  • Advising the Joint Liquidators of the Openhydro Group, an Irish manufacturer of wave energy turbines with operations in France, Scotland, Canada, Japan, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
