Ferin Chairysa

Ferin is a Senior Associate of UMBRA – Strategic Legal Solutions with experience in assisting local and multinational institution in transactional and advisory matters involving general corporate, merger & acquisition, energy, and business restructuring. Having handled many clients in the field of shipping, port, airport, oil and gas, and mining, Ferin is very well versed and speaks fluent language of these clients. Ferin has single-handedly managed and led many transactions to close for our clients. Ferin never failed to deliver top-notch quality service even when handling multiple deals at once – a testament to her passion and resilience in being an exceptional lawyer who gets things done for our clients.

With this quality, UMBRA is delighted to have promoted Ferin, at her six years of lawyering career, as the youngest lawyer to become a Senior Associate in the firm. Ferin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Indonesia in 2016 with a cumlaude predicate for her 3.5 years of study, and is currently continue her study for Master of Business Administration in Sustainability in Bandung Institute of Technology.

• Representing and assisting the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises and various State-owned Companies from the housing industries for the proposed establishment of Indonesian State-Owned Housing Holding Company – BUMN Holding Project.
• Representing and assisting the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises and various State-owned Companies from the national defence and high technology industries for the proposed establishment of Indonesian State-Owned National Defence and High Technology Company – BUMN Holding Project.
• Assisting PT Pertamina EP Cepu for fulfilling the post-project obligation regarding US$1.85bn TBS Project Financing for the Development of Jambaran – Tiung Biru Unitized Field Gas Project.
• Representing for a proposed acquisition of a major gas trading company by a gas State-Owned Enterprise as a market leader in the gas distribution sector.
