David is a Partner in the Firm’s Finance Group and head of our London office. David acts for both lenders and borrowers including private equity sponsors across a wide range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions and has extensive experience in advising lenders on their restructuring and enforcement options. These transactions include property and development finance, leveraged/acquisition finance and secured and unsecured lending, in bilateral, club and syndicated deals.  David also has exclusive experience in loan sale transactions, both buy and sell side.

  • Advising Tetrarch Capital on the finance aspects of a series of large real estate transactions including the Marker Hotel and Powerscourt Hotel;
  • Advising Cap Vest and Valeo Foodson the finance aspects of the acquisition of a series of businesses including Jacobs Fruitfield, Rowse Honey and Balconi;
  • Advising a series of Marlet / M&G joint venture vehicles in relation to debt and equity financing for the acquisition and development of real estate portfolios totalling over €300 million;
  • Advising Starwood Capital Advisers Europe in relation to facilities to fund real estate investment by an Irish fund;
  • Advising Green Property in relation to refinancing of its credit facilities totalling approximately €750 million.
