Anshul Jain is a Partner in the General Corporate & Regulatory Practice of the firm and has more than 21 years of experience in the field of corporate compliance, general corporate advisory, M&A and private equity transactions and he specializes in insolvency law, company law, securities law, stamp laws and corporate compliance matters. 

He has been accredited as one of the “youngest CS” in India and is also recognized as ‘Leading Lawyer in General Corporate Practice’ by Asia Law Leading Lawyers 2012 survey.

  • Advising resolution professionals in managing the CIRP process across top 12 accounts, assisting various potential bidders in their acquisition process of their investments and group holding in light of current IBC framework;
  • Assisted companies in management disputes and removal of key managerial person, along with corporate litigation advisory;
  • Advised PE investors such as Carlyle, Blackstone, IL&FS, IDFC and other senior infrastructure investors in their investments;
  • Advised the Department of Revenue, Government of NCT of Delhi and has been assisting the department in revising Schedule I-A of Indian Stamp Act as applicable to Delhi;
  • Advising the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India and Ministry of Corporate Affairs for effective implementation of Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 as well as Companies Act, 2013.
