One highlight saw Gabriel G Matarasso advise Banco Itaú, Rabobank, Export Development Canada, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Israel Discount Bank of New York, Banco do Brasil, HSBC and others in a loan to MASISA, a forestry and lumber company headquartered in Chile. The transaction was worth $150 million.
The firm advised Adecoagro during its IPO on the NYSE and TGLT's IPO on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange. Additionally, Santiago Carregal led a team that advised Banco Hipotecario as underwriter and BACS Banco de Crédito y Securitización as arranger, underwriter, trustee and issuer in an issuance of trust securities under the global program "Fideicomisos Financieros BACS".

In 2010, partners Alejandro D Fiuza, Hernán Slemenson and Sebastián Soler advised defence contractor Lockheed Marin as it sold its Argentine subsidiary to the Republic of Argentina. At the end of the year, the firm helped SABMiller acquire all of the shares of Argentina's third-largest brewer, Cervecería Argentina Sociedad Anónima Isenbeck. The transaction marked the global brewing giant's first acquisition in Argentina.
In another deal, a team led by Santiago Carregal counseled Aegis Group as it took its first step into the Latin American BPO and marketing communications business. Aegis, through its subsidiaries Aegis Netherlands and Aegis Services Australia, acquired Actionline de Argentina and Sur Contact Center from Y&R Inversiones Publicitarias and its partner DS.
Earlier this year, the firm also added Luis Lucero, an experienced M&A partner in mining law from Cárdenas Di Ció Romero & Tarsitano.
