WDA Legal, which was formerly the Caracas office of Squire Sanders & Dempsey, spun off from its American parent in April to become an independent affiliate. Led by Bernardo Weininger, Hernando Diaz-Candia and Ramon A Azpurua, the firm will continue a relationship with Squire as part of the Squire Sanders Legal Counsel Worldwide Network. Last year, the firm helped Xerox Corporation divest its interest in a local subsidiary.
