East African Law Chambers is a fast growing medium sized corporate firm
that enjoys a diversity of specialization and experience of the
advocates, lawyers and consultants who compose it. The Firm as presently
composed is a result of the merger between East African Law Chambers
and Fernandes & Partners Advocates. The Firm provides a wide range
of legal services, including arbitration, bankruptcy and insolvency,
corporate law, banking securities, commercial litigation, employment,
energy and gas, environmental law, infrastructure, intellectual
property, legislative drafting, mergers and acquisition, project
finance, taxation, telecommunication and communication technology, real
estate, hospitality and leisure, security documentation, as well as
taxation matters. In all the above fields of laws the Firm conducts
consultancy, provides legal opinions and where applicable, the Firm
provides support services to ensure that the needs of our clients are
adequately taken care of.
The goal of the firm is to provide accurate, efficient and prompt legal
services to its clientele at a reasonable fee. Although the Firm is
relatively young compared to its peers, the young and energetic lawyers
who comprise East African Law Chamber have consistently punched above
their weight and are well regarded for their experience in corporate and
