Hanzekovic & Partneri is a large firm and is one of the longest serving in the country. It operates largely on the domestic (and regional) scale and advises borrowers and lenders in a host of financial matters. The firm is very active but adopts a unique strategy when compared to its competitors, operating from Zagreb and relying on a network of independent firms across the country for help on a range of matters. "Hanzekovic is active but they do domestic and routine work," says one peer.
However, there are mixed perceptions with regard to the firm's visibility with some peers reporting decreased visibility. "Hanzekovic are not as active as seven to ten years ago. They still don't have many deals to my knowledge," says another partner. The firm is a member of Lex Mundi (a leading international association of independent law firms).
