A substantial mandate for Ferreira de Almeida Luciano Marcos e Associados saw a team of practitioners, including António André Martins, Sandra Guerreiro and Joana Maltez, advise the concessionaire and the sponsors in relation to the renegotiation of the Beira Interior shadow toll highway concession. The project aims to transform the existing highway into a one with a multi-lane free flow toll system which was worth €800 million.  

Another notable deal example saw Martins teamed up with Dalila Romão advising the subconcessionaire and the sponsors on the renegotiation of the Transmontana Highway subconcession, in order to ensure the approval from the Portuguese Accounts Court. The mandate was valued at approximately €605 million.
