DL&F de Saram consolidates its position in the upper levels of the rankings this year and jumps up to the second tier of M&A. The firm is ever-present on deals and consistently garners great support from peers and clients.

Some of the notable transactions for the firm in the past year included acting for advertising and creative agencies The Solutions Group, which is a branch of Leo Burnett Worldwide, and J Walter Thompson, which it represnted on local legal framework matters and in litigation.
The firm also acted as local counsel to Chinese law firm China Venturetec Law Office to advise on exchange control issues, taxation laws and on the local legal framework for a series of loans totalling $500 million to the government of Sri Lanka and state controlled banks by the China Development Bank.
