The firm welcomed the arrival of senior associate Rozaiman Dato Abdul Rahman in April 2011, who joins from the position of legal counsel at Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam.
In the last year, partner Kelvin Lim advised the Ministry of Finance in Brunei in the incorporation of Centre for Islamic Banking and Finance, which was established as a training centre for Islamic bankers in the country. Lim was also the lead in advisory work and incorporation of a joint venture company between the Sabah Development Corridor (SDC) and Turkish corporate the Ulker Group. The firm provides commendable legal services to companies abroad such as NovaMSC of Malaysia, as well as domestic interests such as the Employees Provident Fund in Brunei.
